The Serendipity House: Holiday Bliss

serendipity3I love a shop that is in an old historic home. It just gives it so much character — and that’s how I feel before I even start to look around! The Serendipity House in Historic Acworth is as beautiful on the inside as it is on the outside.

Now, I won’t sugar coat it: I am a Christmas fanatic, so visiting the Serendipity House with their 28 decorated trees was pretty exciting. There were gifts, ornaments, jewelry, holiday décor, candles and home accessories in every square inch of the Victorian style home. The fact serendipity1that I was on a bit of a time schedule helped me stay focused, since there is such an enormous variety of different themed trees! You really could find an ornament for just about anyone, like say an ornament that looks like a Panini press. There was an entire shoe tree!

If you are still hunting for that perfect ornament for a holiday gift exchange, you will find it at Serendipity House. It’s also a great place to pick up a hostess or teacher gift, or a little something for that one hard to shop for person on your list.

I am excited to head back to Serendipity House after the holidays to see what they have in store during the non-holiday months. Going by what I saw in December, I am quite sure it will be just as impressive. So head on over to Acworth and visit the lovely ladies at the Serendipity House, and tell them Scoop sent you!

The Serendipity House is located at 4965 N. Main Street, Acworth, GA.
