It is not just a rumor anymore! Dicks Sporting Goods is coming to East Cobb at the intersection of Johnson Ferry and Roswell Road. Dick’s Sporting Goods in 120/Roswell Road will be opening March 13th. A special preview will be March 12th at 4:30.
A Kmart used to be in this shopping center at 4269 Roswell Road. A DSW was rumored to be coming, but we believe that deal fell through. The Dicks will be located at the East Cobb Crossing Shopping Center and will make many local OTP residents very happy.
Also announced this week in an Avalon Press Release, the company recently secured commitments from Lilly Pulitzer (resort wear and chic beach clothing), Brooks Brothers and Peek (a children’s clothing company), who will all be joined by 12 more retailers and three restaurants in Phase II.
Phase I of Avalon opens Oct. 30. With only 10 weeks until the grand opening, the retail space is 97 percent leased and more than 5,000 people are on a reserve list for 250 luxury rentals and 101 single-family homes.
