Customized Cornhole Games

Cornhole_logo_2013_A.226201044I am not sure if I ever mentioned this, but I can be a little competitive. I love the game of Cornhole because anyone of any age can play it and feel like a rock star when they get a Cornhole (like a hole in one, but much easier). We were excited when we discovered Woodstock Cornhole Games at Woodstock Market because it fell into several categories: Made OTP, Forced Family Fun and Retail Therapy.

Bass1.116153923_largeWoodstock Cornhole started simply enough. The owner Keith Steinway had played the game with some friends and wanted to make his own set. He is a master carpenter by trade, so it was not difficult for him to build one to tournament guidelines. His wife Cecile is an artist, and since Keith loves fishing, she came up with a bass fish design that started it all.

Once people saw it, they started asking for their own, and they had an overwhelming response. The company moved into Woodstock Market September of 2013 to have a convenient place for people to pick up their orders or extra bag sets.

Not only does this local business make and customize regulation Cornhole boards, but they have all the accessories too. If you have ever left your corn-filled bean bag in the rain, you know the importance of having a local place to get more fast!

Lights_red_1.194122408_stdI love the light-up accessory that Woodstock Cornhole offers. We have played this game at dusk so many times and as it gets dark out, it is hard to see the hole. This light helps guide you. They also have cute prizes if you ever host a contest.

Which design will you select: team spiritfamily fun,  company logo or an original design? This is a great corporate gift or family gift. Cecile’s artwork is superb, and makes it even more special for a personalized gift.

Tell them Scoop OTP sent you when you contact them by email here, or by phone at 678-313-2744. The company is planning to organize some competitions at the Woodstock Market and are available for hire for charity and fundraising events.

Located inside Woodstock Market at 5500 Bells Ferry Rd. Acworth, GA – Open 7 days a week! If you are the Captain of Cornhole or just love Cornhole, you can order online Cecile’s product line of Cornhole shirts, cards, bags and more.

Scoop History Lesson: According to The American Cornhole Association said for citizens born and raised in Kentucky and the southern part of Ohio, the game is passionately referred to as Cornhole verse Indian horseshoes or bean toss. It has been said that the game originated in Germany in the 14th century, and then was rediscovered in the hills of Kentucky over 100 years ago.
