Alpine Bakery and Trattoria

I know I am a little late to the party with Alpine Bakery and Tratorria. I was of the impression that is was JUST a bakery — and not even a sweets bakery, but more of a bread-type bakery. So I was wrong. Very wrong.

Alpine Bakery

Alpine Bakery and Tratorria, located right by the Silos in Roswell, is a full Italian style restaurant, with a complete lunch and dinner menu, full bar, and most important to me, a huge dessert selection. Upon arriving for lunch, there was a small table set up with bite size samples of their cakes. This was wonderful, because sometimes just a bite can help you make your choice. Now, if you are like me, you scour a dessert menu before looking at the actual menu. Advice: DO THAT HERE, even if you usually abstain.

Disclaimer: it was my birthday, so I was not holding back as much as on a non-birthday day. So I also had a slice of their pizza, which was also very good.

Okay, so here are the details on the cakes. The slices are huge. Share them. My favorite was the white chocolate raspberry mousse. But they have a wide range of flavors like German Chocolate, Caramel Mocha, Peanut Butter Mousse, Cookies and Cream, Coconut, Carrot, Tiramisu, California Cheesecake, Boston Cream Cake, and many pies and other baked treats, and I am quite positive that all of these flavors would be amazing.

So please, be sure you indulge. And tell them Scoop sent you.

Alpine Bakery is located at 12315 Crabapple Road, Alpharetta GA.

Now Open in Woodstock too as a bakery only!
